It is a high strength biaxial geogrid made from Polymer material consisted with a biaxial array of composite geosynthetic strips. The strips with high tenacity polyester fibers bundlings or carbon steel wires inside as reinforcement and coated with a polyethylene sheath.
The geogrid high tensile strength and low elongation make it become to a high strength reinforced strips.Then the single strips prepared and arranged in a certain distance vertically and horizontally and weld together tightly to be a interlock form structure by Ultrasonic welding technology,which provides superior stiffness, aperture stability and interlock capabilities for structural reinforcement of soft and hard rock underground mining applications,as a load bearing alternative to steel/metal mesh.
DKM-Mine Flame Retardant HDPE Geogrid has been proven to outperform conventional steel and metal mesh solutions. It is designed to be lighter and ideal for mine tunnel walls.It can be produced to specific roll lengths and widths.
